Review: VW Touareg
Stylish, sleek, and actually somewhat bulky. These are three words I would use to describe the (not new) VW Touareg. Indeed, the car has been on the market for almost 6 years now - and with the passing of time, the obsolescence of its design has certainly become more and more obvious. Indeed, it would still seem that they are stuck in the past - with no apparent change in the design in recent times. Unfortunately, the other thing that VW forgot to do with the Touareg was to make it reliable. But other than the lack of design skills, and the somewhat flimsy nature of the vehicles bolts and screws (my friend had his drive shaft fall out - that’s why I’m saying that) - the ride is actually not too bad overall.
It’s a strange thing with these cars isn’t it. They all seem to break down more times than the coffee machine in the kitchen, and yet we pay so much more for them. I remember when the Touareg first came out - selling for something impossible like $80,000 USD! You would at least think they could be made a little more reliably.
